Acer launches Connect Vero W6m router: tri-band 7.8Gbps, shell made of recycled material
CTOnews.com May 25, Acer today unveiled the Connect Vero W6m mesh Router, its first Wi-Fi 6e environmentally friendly router with an energy-efficient energy-efficient model with a shell made of post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic.
CTOnews.com collates the Connect Vero W6m mesh router as follows:
The Acer Connect Vero W6m is Acer's first environmentally friendly router, which supports Wi-Fi 6e and complies with the safety standards set out in the European Commission Radio equipment Directive. It can cover AXE7800 Wi-Fi 6e tri-band traffic (2.4 GHz/5 GHz/6 GHz [1mai 2]) and achieve speeds of up to 7.8 Gbps.
In terms of configuration, the Acer Connect Vero W6m is equipped with MediaTek quad-core 2 GHz A53 processor and 1 GB LPDDR RAM and 4 GB flash memory.
The Acer Connect Vero W6m is based on a simple and refined design, made of 30% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic with goose egg lime paint, which can be easily integrated into any office or home environment design; the special energy-saving mode design can effectively adjust the data flow frequency through idle and dormant time management to optimize the power consumption of routers and other connecting devices.
At present, Acer has not announced the price and release time of the router.
