CTOnews.com, May 26 (Xinhua)-- the James Webb Telescope recently discovered an ancient galaxy called GS-9209, more than 25 billion light-years from Earth, which astronomers believe formed between 600 million and 800 million years after the Big Bang.

The researchers claim that this is the earliest massive stationary galaxy ever discovered. The researchers shared the information in the latest blog post by taking a closer look at the galaxy.

CTOnews.com according to the report, the summary is as follows:

The GS-9209 galaxy is 10 times smaller than the Milky way and its total mass is about 40 billion times that of the sun.

The number of stars in GS-9202 is close to that of the Milky way, so it is very dense and filled with cosmic matter.

GS-9202 no longer spits out young stars and hasn't formed any new stars for at least half a billion years.

GS-9209 contains a supermassive black hole at its center.
