Apple applies for the "SignChat" trademark to provide sign language services
CTOnews.com May 28 news, according to the list published by the European Union Intellectual Property Office last weekend, Apple approved a new trademark called "SignChat," and Apple has applied it to the German official website.
Apple's German website reads: "Welcome to SignChat sessions. By using sign language interpretation services, you can get shopping recommendations and after-sales support."
The mark is filed in international classes 09, 35, 37, 38, 41 and 42. CTOnews.com queried Google Play Store and also found Android apps with the same name, which are mainly used to deliver messages, not sign language services.
