Earlier this month, display analyst Ross Young first claimed this, and a few days later Guo Mingyi expressed a similar view that the Pro model in Apple's iPhone 16 series has a larger screen.

Bloomberg Mark Gurman has previously said that there is no clear consensus on how much larger the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max are than their predecessors. Gurman thinks the increase will be quite small-"a diagonal increase of a few tenths of an inch". (CTOnews.com Note: Ross Young thinks they are 6.2in and 6.8in, while Guo Mingyi thinks they will be bigger, 6.3in and 6.9in.)

Part of the reason for the larger screen is that Apple wants to add extra hardware to these phones, and Mark Gurman believes that Apple will bring a periscope zoom camera is one of the factors.

Now, according to Weibo blogger @ Digital chat site, "the main screen size of Apple (temporarily known as the iPhone 16 series) will indeed increase next year, especially the super-large cup Pro Max (Ultra), which is likely to plug in both a 1.14in super sole and a latent telephoto, which is Apple's image flagship."
