CTOnews.com, May 30 / PRNewswire-Asianet /-- Anker has released a new USB-C docking station that is compatible with the latest Apple MacBook.

The Anker 547 USB-C docking station (7-in-2) moves the HDMI port location to avoid blocking the MagSafe port; it provides a 40Gbps USB-C port for 100W charging and an additional USB port (5Gbps) for connecting peripherals, and the multi-function USB-C and HDMI ports can be connected to dual monitors.

The upgraded Anker 547 USB-C docking station can be connected to the MacBook through the USB port, similar to the previous model, but adjusted to accommodate MagSafe charging; there are seven ports that can connect 5K 60Hz monitors and 4K 30Hz monitors, including SD and microSD card slots.

Anker has moved the HDMI port in the new USB-C docking station to the short side to charge the new MacBook for MagSafe; the design is similar to the MacBook shape and has the same type of metal finish.

The new Anker 547 USB-C docking station (7 in 2) costs 59.99 euros in the European Union (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 455 yuan) and retails for 39.99 pounds (currently about 350 yuan) in the UK.
