Thanks to CTOnews.com netizen for the clue delivery of rain and snow! CTOnews.com May 31 News, Clip Pro 4.2.0 Beta has been released today. According to the official, the new version brings a new creative experience with NVIDIA GeForce. Based on NVIDIA Video Codec SDK and dual encoders driven by the new GeForce RTX 40 series, Clip Pro 4.2.0 now supports parallel scene encoding, and video export speed can be increased by up to 67%.

CTOnews.com learned on Nvidia's official website that Nvidia's recently released Video Codec SDK version 12.1 adds support for multiple encoders, reducing video export time by half.

In addition, the Video Codec SDK version 12.1 introduces a new encoding method called parallel scene encoding. After a picture or scene is sent to the rendering workflow, the video application can split it into multiple groups. Each group can then be rendered independently and arranged in the appropriate order for final output. The results show that encoding speeds can be significantly improved, up to 80% faster with dual encoders, and even faster with more than two NVIDIA encoders (e.g. NVIDIA RTX 6000 Ada architecture professional GPU). Compared with the existing segmentation coding methods, the image quality is also improved.
