According to the analysis, in the face of multiple pressures such as overseas production expansion costs and electricity tariff increases, although the market is in the doldrums and many contract manufacturers are still in the state of cutting prices to maintain customers, TSMC still decided to offset costs by raising quotations for advanced processes. On the other hand, because TSMC is obviously ahead of its competitors such as Samsung in the advanced manufacturing process below 7nm, it has more strength for this increase.

TSMC said it would not comment on market rumors.
