CTOnews.com, June 5, yesterday, the fourth batch of space science experiment samples from the Chinese space station returned to the ground with the re-entry module of the Shenzhou 15 spacecraft, which has now been handed over to scientists for follow-up research.

According to a CCTV report, the space application system went down with the re-entry module of the Shenzhou 15 spacecraft with experimental samples of 15 scientific projects, including a variety of alloy materials, new infrared detector materials, amorphous film materials, and other material experimental samples, as well as cell, nematode, Arabidopsis, ratooning rice and other life experimental samples.

CTOnews.com learned from the official that during the Shenzhou 15 mission, the Chinese space station carried out more than 30 scientific experiments in the fields of space life science, material science, and microgravity physics, and obtained a large number of observations and experimental data.

It is worth mentioning that during the Shenzhou 16 mission, the Chinese space station will also carry out a number of scientific experiments, such as the study of liver tissue cells under microgravity, the observation of the ontogeny of nematodes in the extravehicular exposure environment, and the space radiation damage of animals and plants.
