Runway, the special effects company behind the instant universe, launched the AI model Gen-2, which can generate realistic video according to the prompts.
IT House, June 8 (Xinhua)-- Runway, a behind-the-scenes technology company behind the instant universe, has previously been funded by Google to speed up the application of AI in film and television creation. Runway recently unveiled its AI-enabled video editing tool Gen-2, which allows users to generate "realistic video content" and "automatically edit videos" directly using text prompts.
Runway first launched its Gen-1 model in February this year, which can modify the artistic style of videos using only text prompts, such as converting real-life shots into a cartoon paper-cut world.
Gen-2 goes a step further by using a single text prompt to generate video scenes, such as "aerial drone shots of mountains", to generate realistic aerial images, but the video resolution output of the open source model is still low and needs to be further developed.

Runway is currently providing Gen-2 models to Discord registered testers. According to Runway, Gen-1 currently has "thousands of users". The startup aims to combine human intelligence with AI's creative results to create unique content while preventing AI from being abused.
Runway Gen-2 is now available on Apple App Store, as well as a version of Web, which can be used in browsers. Friends of CTOnews.com can click here to visit.
