CTOnews.com, June 12 (Xinhua)-- Apple may be producing 3D video content for its upcoming headset, the Apple Vision Pro, and a new show called "the Monster Legacy (Monarch: Legacy of Monsters)" may have been filmed for that device.

CTOnews.com previously reported that Apple Vision Pro allows users to watch 2D and 3D video content on a huge virtual screen, and the device has spatial audio and video capabilities, providing a more immersive viewing experience.

Screentimes's Sigmund Judge tweeted on Sunday that he learned from some people familiar with the production of the new show that the show was filmed in the Spatial Video format introduced by Apple at the WWDC conference. This format can realize the transmission and playback of stereoscopic 3D video, and is suitable for headsets and other devices that can handle this kind of content.

In January 2022, Apple announced that it had ordered a live-action TV series based on the world of Godzilla and Titan and associated with a secret organization called the Sovereign. The show is a derivative of the legendary film series Monster Universe, which Judge says will be called "the King: the Legacy of Monsters."

It is not clear on which Apple platforms the show will be broadcast and is likely to be synchronized with the launch of the Vision Pro. However, because Apple's format also supports 2D views, it is also possible to watch the show through standard streaming methods, such as Apple TV.
