This is the first high-level intelligent driving aid in the industry to be opened in the urban area of Beijing. at present, it is mainly suitable for all rings and major expressways in Beijing.

At present, this function is open to public test users, and will soon be promoted to G9 and P7i Max users with Xmart OS 4.3.0 version. at the same time, after Xiaopeng P5 P version is upgraded to Xmart OS 3.5.0, the urban NGP function will also be applicable to the above Beijing urban areas.

NGP=Navigation Guided Pilot, English literal translation is navigation-assisted driving, that is, when the user sets the end point on the Xiaopeng vehicle and initiates the navigation, the vehicle will automatically follow the navigation route to the destination after dialing down the lever to activate the function. Urban NGP, which refers to the NGP function that can be run on some urban roads covered by the advanced driving assistance map, is also another star function mass produced based on Xiaopeng's first generation intelligent driving assistance system XPILOT.

Xiaopeng said that as the first high-order intelligent assisted driving in China, the city NGP has improved its driving level equivalent to one year's driving experience every quarter since it was launched in October 2022, and has become like an "old driver".
