CTOnews.com, June 15, Stack Overflow today released the 2023 developer survey report, which involved more than 90,000 developers. Among them, JavaScript, PostgreSQL and Node.js are all on the list, each of which is the most popular among developers in their own fields.

Development language aspect

JavaScript has become the most popular development language for 11 years in a row, accounting for 63.61%

HTML / CSS ranked second, while Python replaced SQL as the third most popular development language.

PostgreSQL replaced MySQL as the most popular database this year, accounting for 45.55 per cent.

MySQL ranks second with a share of 41.09%. SQLite ranked third with 30.9%.

Developers using Node.js accounted for 42.65%, while React accounted for 40.58%.

In addition, jQuery, Express, Angular and so on are also very popular with developers.

And ChatGPT as the "number one" in the industry, 83% of the respondents said they had used the AI. In addition, more people are using Windows for development.
