CTOnews.com, June 17, following feedback from Malwarebytes users, Win11 devices using antivirus solutions such as Cisco and WatchGuard EDR also had the problem of not being able to use the Chrome browser after installing the June update KB5027231.

A Windows administrator said: "after I upgraded the KB5027231 update for the customer, the Chrome browser was completely unavailable. I tried to roll back to the previous version through WUSA, but failed many times."

CTOnews.com previously reported that Microsoft released cumulative updates to KB5027231 for Win11 at this month's patch Tuesday event. Users who installed Malwarebytes antivirus software reported that after installing the update, Google Chrome browser could not be launched.

One user commented: "I can't open the Chrome browser after installing the June update KB5027231. I can see the relevant processes in the task manager, but the Chrome browser cannot display it."
