CTOnews.com June 17, AMD recently launched the Epyc Bergamo processor for the cloud market. The processor uses Zen 4c core architecture and thin L3 cache to optimize intensive computing workloads.

Due to the general ISA (instruction set architecture), the Zen 4c core uses the same instruction set as Zen 4 (including AVX512, etc.), but reduces the L3 cache, and the core is 35% smaller than Zen 4.

The V-Ray 5 running score of the EPYC 9754 processor also confirms this. Two 128core Epyc 9754 CPU have a score of 221018 in 2S configuration, which is the fastest chip combination in 3D rendering.

The score of two EPYC 9654 processors is 147975, making it the second fastest configuration.

Intel's Xeon Platinum 8490H processor scored only 93059 points in the V-Ray 5, while the EPYC 9754 processor was 2.4 times higher.
