Now that visionOS SDK is officially open to developers, Apple has also provided a new design suite for those who want to create application models for the Apple Vision Pro operating system.

According to Apple, "Apple's first visionOS design suite provides Figma with a comprehensive set of UI components, views, system interfaces, text styles, color styles and materials that are the core elements you need to quickly create highly realistic visionOS application designs."

Figma is an interface design tool that allows users to use vector graphics and prototyping. Long before Apple officially embraced the community, Figma was used and loved by designers who created for the Apple platform. Earlier this year, Figma released the FigJam app for iPad and has been developing an iPadOS version of its complete software.

Apple has provided design kits for Adobe XD in the past, and Adobe XD is a platform similar to Figma. However, XD was officially suspended after Adobe announced that it would buy Figma.

In addition to the visionOS design suite, Figma users can also use the official design suite with iOS 17, iPadOS 17 and macOS Sonoma interface resources, including home and lock screen elements, notifications, text styles, materials, and more.

Users can get the new official visionOS design suite on the Figma website, which is still in beta and something may change, as visionOS and Apple Vision Pro will not be officially available until early 2024.
