The new generation of 5 Series will provide a wide range of powertrain options and increase the proportion of electrified models. In addition to the regular gasoline and diesel versions, the new car will also be available in light mix, plug-in and pure electric version i5. Among them, the pure electric version i5 will also launch the M brand adjusted high-performance model i5 M60, and the station wagon version i5 Touring for the first time.
Not only that, BMW will also show a number of new pure electric cars at this speed festival, including i7 M70xDrive, i5 and i8 models, as well as a number of M Power high-performance cars, including XM Label Red, new M2, M3 CS, M3 travel version and so on. In addition, two hydrogen-powered models and classic models will be displayed at the scene.
Among them, the new generation of BMW 3.0 CSL will also make its debut at the Speed Festival. The car will pay tribute to BMW's classic Batmobile E93.0 CSL, which is also a tribute to the 50th anniversary of BMW's M division.
The new BMW 3.0 CSL will be limited to 50 units, equipped with a 3.0T twin-turbocharged in-line six-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 553 horsepower, a maximum torque of 550Nm and a manual transmission.
