Toshiba launches the world's first real-time measurement of carbon dioxide emissions: 1.7 seconds, 150 times faster than before
CTOnews.com, June 26 (Xinhua) Toshiba recently launched the world's first technology that can measure carbon dioxide and other substances emitted by factories in real time, 150 times faster than existing technology.

"in fact, carbon dioxide emissions could not be measured accurately in real time and could only be estimated by rough calculations," Akira Oshima, director of the Toshiba Research and Development Center, said in an interview with ABEMA Times. "with this technology, we will be able to measure accurate carbon dioxide levels in real time."
Akira Oshima also said that the technology can be used to accurately calculate the greenhouse gas emissions reduced by factories and promote the accelerated research and development of decarbonization technology.
CTOnews.com has previously reported that technology companies have been active in reducing greenhouse gas emissions after a number of technology giants, including Apple, Qualcomm, Intel and Foxconn, have announced that they will achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2030-2050.
