On Wednesday, Oracle announced the addition of generative artificial intelligence to its enterprise-oriented human resources software, designed to help draft tasks such as job descriptions and employee performance goals.

But for now, many business users are still wary of generative artificial intelligence technology because it may make up lies.

Oracle said its human resources software is being used by large companies for tasks such as recruiting new employees and providing performance reviews, while Oracle will add a button to many fields of the software. this button will automatically generate draft text for matters such as job listings or performance goals.

Richard Buchheim (Rich Buchheim), vice president of product management for Oracle adaptive smart applications, said that presenting artificial intelligence assistants in the form of buttons, rather than telling you the answer directly, is to ensure that these buttons "produce good and safe results."

Mr Buchheim says the generated text still needs to be manually reviewed. "We don't think generative AI will help you find your target. It will only give you a starting point and provide useful information for your reference."

Guy Waterman (Guy Waterman), Oracle's vice president of human data analysis and human resources management technology and innovation, says that in the future, Oracle is studying how to use artificial intelligence for more complex human resources management tasks, such as how to compile a list of job requirements that meet local regulations in different markets while complying with local regulations.

"it may take a week or two to make a decision and implement it. If we can shorten it from a few weeks to a few hours or even minutes, then this is where generative artificial intelligence really works," Waterman said.
