CTOnews.com, July 1, Homeworld 3 is a real-time strategy game developed by Blackbird Interactive and released by Gearbox Software.

In May this year, Blackbird announced that the game would jump to February 2024, and in its latest developer blog post, it introduced the audio design and visual enhancement of the game. According to the official blog post, CTOnews.com briefly summarizes the information as follows:

Scene animation: the previous game scene animation of "Home" is 2D, while in "Home 3" game, the scene animation is created by Unreal engine 4, providing excellent film-level effects.

Voice: in Home World 3, each ship has two voices: the main voice is the captain's voice, focusing on the direct response to player orders, notification of important events, such as contact with enemy ships, and selected flavor events. This information layer is clear and (mostly) concise, can be heard clearly from all distances, and is designed to let players know and understand the situation.

The second voice is the voice of the tactical officer on board, a role that focuses on contextual dialogue. This contextual flavor layer is full of personality and can only be heard within a certain range of the spacecraft, designed to inject life into the vacuum in space.

Lighting effect: "Home 3" is built with Unreal engine 4, which can call a more advanced lighting system, so that players can be more immersed in the game.
