Thanks to CTOnews.com netizen OC_Formula for the clue delivery! CTOnews.com July 4 news, PS4 simulator is not a new idea, there are a lot of software including spine, Kyty, fpPS4, GPCS4 and Orbital, but it is still not mature.
DH, the developer of RPCS3, put forward the concept of RPCSX when Sony launched the PlayStation 4 game console; many years after Sony launched the PlayStation 5, the concept of RPCSX is finally coming to the ground.
CTOnews.com Note: the RPCS3 simulator has been developed for 12 years, indicating that 2500 of the 3500 PS3 games have been simulated and run successfully. The three elders of DH, kd-11 and Nekotekina jointly promote the RPCS3 simulator.
DH says RPCSX is still in its early stages, but the ultimate goal of the project is to simulate and run all PS4 games.
PC players can theoretically run many popular PS4 games through the RPCSX simulator, including "Blood Curse", "Dream creation", "the end of the Gravity fantasy World", "the infamous second son", "the Last Guardian", "Wanda and the Colossus" and so on.
