CTOnews.com, July 4 (Xinhua)-- motherboard manufacturers are preparing to launch a new Z790 motherboard to bring better support and add more new features to Intel Core 14.

Source momomo_us as shown above, gigabyte has registered several Z790 motherboards, and the new product has added an X suffix, which is expected to bring support for new features such as Wi-Fi 7.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, the core 14-generation K series, upgraded from the 13-generation Core, is expected to be launched in October. A 8P+12E core model may be added to this series of processors. In addition, the series of processors will support 600 amp 700 series motherboards.

Not long ago, Intel has announced that the Core brand will be split into the new Intel Core Ultra for the flagship level and the Intel Core processor brand for mainstream products. After that, the Intel processor will be named Intel Core Ultra 5-7-9 # # xx and Intel Core processor 3-5-7 # # xx parallel. One exception is that Intel chose not to bring Core 14, a minor upgrade of the 13th generation of Core HX and desktop processors, to the latest naming system and still retains the naming rules of the I series.
