According to CTOnews.com news on July 7, SAIC's vehicle sales in June exceeded 406000, of which 86000 were new energy vehicles, up 13.1 percent from the previous month. SAIC passenger vehicles (including overseas bases) sold 32000 new energy vehicles, an increase of 59.3 percent over the same period last year.

In the first half of the year, SAIC sold 372000 new energy vehicles, of which sales of new energy vehicles exceeded 230000 in the second quarter, up 61.9 percent from the first quarter. SAIC sold 2.072 million vehicles, of which total vehicle sales exceeded 1.18 million in the second quarter, up 32.5 percent from the first quarter.

CTOnews.com obtained from SAIC officials that SAIC sold 95000 vehicles in overseas markets in June, with cumulative sales of 533000 vehicles in the first half, up 40 per cent from a year earlier. Among them, the MG brand sold 115000 vehicles in Europe, up 143% from the same period last year, with new energy accounting for more than 50%. At present, MG brand products and services have covered 28 European countries, with more than 830 service outlets, and the monthly delivery volume in Europe has exceeded 20,000 vehicles for four consecutive months.

In 2023, SAIC will strive to create one "200,000-class" market overseas (Europe) and five "100,000-class" markets (the Americas, the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand, ASEAN and South Asia). Overseas sales are expected to exceed 1.2 million vehicles.
