Joint initiative of nine major photovoltaic enterprises to call for size standardization of rectangular wafer modules
CTOnews.com, July 7, a new generation of rectangular wafers can increase the power of components, maximize the use of containers, and reduce system costs, which has become an important technology direction for the development of the photovoltaic industry.
In order to reduce the industrial chain supply difficulties, material waste and application problems of customer system design caused by differences in the size of rectangular wafer assemblies, representatives of 9 component enterprises including Ates, Oriental Risheng, Jingke, Longji, Tianhe, Tonghe, Yidao and Zhengtai announced that they have reached the following consensus on the standardized size of 238Xmm*1134mm modules in the new generation of rectangular wafers:
Component size: 2382mm*1134mm
Longitudinal hole distance on long side of component: 400mm / 790mm / 1400mm
At the same time, 9 enterprises advocate that the current and future size design of 182series and 210series modules in the industry should follow the provisions of the China Photovoltaic Industry Association Standard "T / CPIA0003-2022 ground Crystal Silicon Photovoltaic Modules and Technical requirements for mounting holes" as well as the existing dimensions of the industry.
Nine enterprises jointly advocate and promote the above standardized size scheme to be accepted by more enterprises in the industry, and bring the standardized size of each rectangular wafer module into the standard of China Photovoltaic Industry Association.
