In November last year, the regulations on promoting the innovative Application of driverless Intelligent Network in Shanghai Pudong New area (hereinafter referred to as "the regulations") were officially announced on the official website of ▲ Baidu Apollo, which will come into force on February 1, 2023. It is mentioned that enterprises that carry out driverless intelligent network-connected vehicle road testing, demonstration application and demonstration operation should apply for confirmation of safety self-declaration.

With the implementation of the regulations and relevant implementation rules, the three enterprises were awarded the first batch of test licenses, which also marks the real unmanned stage of self-driving cars in Shanghai's Pudong New area.
