IOS Wechat 8.0.40 internal trial version has added a "small mouth": support official account articles "read aloud" and "listen later"

Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens for the delivery of clues about the past. CTOnews.com July 10 news, the iOS version of Wechat recently ushered in an 8.0.40 internal beta update, the official update log continues to show that "some known problems have been resolved," but some netizens have discovered new features after experience.

Some netizens found that after the update, the official account tweet page of Wechat will appear with a "small mouth". After clicking, a small playing window will pop up and start reading the page automatically. This seems to be the new "read aloud" function of the official Wechat account. Click on the three points in the upper right corner of the tweet page and you can see that there are "read aloud" and "listen later" buttons in the menu bar that pops up at the bottom of the page.

Click "read aloud" to jump to the playback page, where you can adjust the playback progress, set the double speed, forward, return to the tweet page, open the playlist and so on. If it is not convenient to listen to the article now, you can first add the tweet to the "listen later" list. Drop down from the Wechat home page, the "Music and Audio" menu bar appears at the top, click "Audio" and you can see the article previously marked "listen later".

It is reported that at present, the functions of "read aloud" and "listen later" are still in grayscale testing, and only some small partners can use them.

In addition to the internal beta update, Wechat has recently launched a new change through hot updates, which is a detailed adjustment to the transfer page. Now, Wechat has added a WeChat display under the nickname of the "transfer to Friends" page.
