Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens for sending clues to the cat! CTOnews.com, July 12, according to the Wall Street Journal, Tesla CEO Elon Musk was investigated by the company's board of directors on suspicion of misusing the company's funds.

Tuyuan WikiMedia reported that Musk was suspected of embezzling company funds to build a personal home near a superfactory in the Austin area in the United States. The interior of the house, known as "Project 42", attracted the attention of employees because of the purchase of a large amount of special glass in the project.

Musk's planned "Project 42" residential project is designed as a unique "twisted hexagon" similar to the glass cube of Apple's iconic Fifth Avenue store, CTOnews.com reported, citing the Wall Street Journal.

The "Project 42" residential project includes personal space such as bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens, indicating that this is a private residence, not a Tesla ancillary project.

Tesla's board of directors did not disclose the investigation report, which said that the purpose of the board was to confirm whether Musk was involved in or led the project, and whether employees' working hours were misappropriated to build personal homes for them.

The company stipulates that any fees of more than $120000 involving related parties such as the CEO must be reviewed by the board committee.
