Tencent Photon Studio acquires Lucid Games, developer of doom all-Star.

According to the official website, Lucid Games's masterpieces include Destruction AllStars and Switchblade, and has helped develop popular games such as Star Wars Jedi: survivors, Star Wars Jedi: fallen Samurai, Sea of Thieves, Apex Heroes and Nightingale.

Lucid Games did not disclose the amount of the deal, but said it would maintain the independence of game development and studio operations after the acquisition, and would also be supported by Tencent Photonic Studios' global network and technical capabilities.

CTOnews.com previously reported that Gaving Raeburn, co-founder of Playground Games and former creator of extreme Speed: horizon, announced the establishment of a new game studio Lighthouse Games in the UK in March this year. Recently, the company said it has received investment from Tencent and will develop new original 3A games.
