CTOnews.com July 15, according to Microsoft 365 official blog post, photos from Android smartphones and tablets can be inserted into Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents more easily.

Microsoft said it had previously wanted to insert Android image content into Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents, requiring multiple steps such as connecting, saving and inserting, while the newly introduced wireless feature greatly simplified the operating experience.

CTOnews.com Note: Microsoft says this new feature is available for Microsoft Enterprise accounts and simply requires an Android device to be placed close to a Windows PC and plugged in wirelessly. Web versions of Word and PowerPoint are available.

After users open Word, Excel and PowerPoint apps, click Insert, select Image, select From Mobile Device in the menu, and the app will display the image content from nearby Android devices.

Once you find the photo you want to put in the app, just right-click on it and select the Change Picture option to insert it into the document.
