Foreign media: Huawei is preparing to release its own mobile operating system

For Huawei, Google's move means they can't use the full Android version, which has a lot of impact on overseas markets, but almost zero impact on domestic users.

Tim Watkins, vice president of Huawei's Western European operations, said in an interview that Huawei was preparing to release its own mobile operating system after Google said it would limit the availability of some of Huawei's Android services, according to the Financial Times. Huawei, which has been building the system before, has tested it in parts of China and is expected to launch it soon, Watkins said.

In March, Yu Chengdong, CEO of Huawei's consumer business, said that Huawei had prepared its own operating system and would be ready to launch Plan B once it could no longer use the operating systems of Google and Microsoft.

"Huawei always insists on building the core competence of its own chip, using and cultivating its own chip," Yu Chengdong said in a speech on moments last week. In addition to its own chip, there is also the core competence of the operating system.
