Stills of Disney's live-action movie Snow White have been exposed: Hispanics play Snow White

CTOnews.com, July 18 (Xinhua)-- the Daily Mail has released stills of the Disney live-action film Snow White, which is expected to be released in March 2024.

In Snow White, Snow White is played by Hispanic actress Rachel Rachel Zegler, Wonder woman Gail Gadot plays the evil stepmother, the seven dwarfs have only one dwarf, and the other six are of normal height, but the race is different, which is very different from the original image.

CTOnews.com learned from the Daily Mail that Disney said in a statement last year: "to avoid reinforcing the stereotypes in the original animated films, we have taken a different approach to these seven characters and have been consulting members of the dwarfism community."

In the original work, Snow White is described as "the most beautiful person in the world" and "skin as white as snow". Many people are strongly opposed to Disney's casting. In response to the doubt, Ziegler posted: "I will not bleach my skin for this role." Later this tweet was deleted.
