Microsoft publishes banners inviting users of Google's Chrome browser to try Bing Chat
CTOnews.com, July 20 (Xinhua) after opening Google Chrome browser recently, netizen Kevin Okemwa received a notice to "experience a new AI driver in Chrome". After clicking, it will open the new Bing page and recommend users to install and use Bing extensions.
CTOnews.com note: Microsoft executives announced in June that they would open Bing Chat access to non-Edge browsers such as Chrome, but have not mentioned the relevant information since then.
Okemwa said that after enabling the extension, it will set Bing as the default search engine and open the Bing home page, but will not be able to enter the new Bing chat interface and will jump out: "chat mode is only available to eligible Bing users."
User feedback although the prompt can use Bing chat in Chrome, but the actual situation still does not work.
