CTOnews.com July 20, Microsoft released a security update KB5002427 for Outlook 2016 on July 11, but users reported that the link could not be opened in Outlook 2016 after installation.

CTOnews.com queried the relevant information, and one user commented that after installing the KB5002427 update, clicking on the link in Outlook 2016 would jump out of the security warning, and there was no way to fix the problem by adding trusted locations in Office by GPO.

Another user reported the same problem. After clicking on the link in the email, the user jumped out of the "Security Advisory for Microsoft Outlook" pop-up window, saying, "Microsoft Office has detected a potential security risk. This location may not be secure."
