CTOnews.com, July 20 (Xinhua)-- publisher Activision Blizzard recently released its results for the second quarter of 2023, revealing information about Diablo 4 and Watchman 2.

Blizzard said that in the second quarter of this year, thanks to the latest Diablo IV game, the company's revenue grew by more than 160% year-on-year, and revenue more than tripled year-on-year, setting a new record for a single quarter.

Blizzard said that by the end of the second quarter, Diablo IV had outsold any of Blizzard's games at the same release stage.

In June this year, more than 1000 million players experienced Diablo IV, and the game lasted more than 700 million hours, and the retention trend was particularly strong.

Blizzard plans to launch its first season Season of the Malignant on July 20, introducing new themes, content and new ways of playing games.

CTOnews.com also learned from the report that Blizzard will release the "Watch Vanguard 2: invasion" bundle on August 10, which will be the biggest seasonal update to date, with plans to include new PVE story quests, new game modes, new hero progress systems, and additional heroes.
