The report says Tesla has more than 2% of China's auto market.
CTOnews.com news on July 20, foreign media cleantechnica integrated the data of European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) and China Automobile Industry Association (CAAM) and produced the market share chart of Tesla in the three major automobile markets in China, the United States and Europe.
The report says Tesla has a market share of more than 2% in China, meaning that one out of every 50 cars sold is Tesla. And as can be seen from the chart, Tesla's market share in China is on the rise. Tesla's market share in the US and Europe is also rising, accounting for nearly 4 per cent and 3 per cent.
Tesla today announced second-quarter results, with second-quarter revenue of $24.9 billion (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 178.782 billion yuan) and market expectations of $24.51 billion.
At present, Tesla is still the largest manufacturer of electric cars in the United States, producing 479700 vehicles and delivering 466140 vehicles in the second quarter, an increase of about 87% year-on-year and a new internal record. Musk pointed out that in the first quarter, the Model Y became "the best-selling vehicle of all types... surpassing models such as the Corolla."
