CTOnews.com, July 21 (Xinhua)-- LG Labs, the research and development arm of LG, crowdfunded the DUOBO coffee machine on KickStarter today to commemorate the first moon landing of Apollo 11 in 1969.

CTOnews.com inquired about the crowdfunding page, which plans to raise $5000 (currently about 35850 yuan) and has 125 supporters, raising a total of $52606.

The biggest highlight of the DUOBO coffee machine is the use of a double extraction system, which can layer-by-layer mix two kinds of coffee capsules, and users can control the mixing ratio according to their own preferences to provide more suitable coffee for their own taste.

LG Labs said that the DUOBO coffee machine is compatible with most coffee capsules, and users can use coffee capsules of different varieties, roasting degrees and flavors to mix to produce their favorite coffee flavor.

The DUOBO coffee machine is expected to ship in December 2023, with a Super early Bird price of $399 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 2861 yuan) and an estimated retail price of $799 (currently about 5729 yuan) when it goes on sale.
