▲ source IMGUR Sony officials have said that the Project Q is a dedicated device to be launched later this year, and players will be able to play any compatible games installed on the PS5 host remotely through Wi-Fi. According to Sony, the device has an 8-inch LCD screen with a resolution of up to 1080p and a frame rate of up to 60fps.

According to wccftech, if Project Q does run on Android rather than custom operating systems like PS Vita, geeks are likely to find a way to enable streaming applications such as GeForce NOW, Shadow, Boosteroid, Amazon Luna and Xbox Cloud. This also means that Project Q can be used as a viable alternative to devices such as Logitech G Gloud or Abxylute.

However, CTOnews.com has previously reported that the Project Q has a battery life of only 3-4 hours and may not be able to compete with other game handsets such as the Steam Deck, such as the Logitech G Cloud for 12 hours and the Steam Deck for 7 hours.
