CTOnews.com, July 26 (Xinhua)-- Stack Overflow is a well-known software developer forum run by Stack Exchange, where users can ask and answer a variety of programming questions, but the number of users of the platform is gradually declining.

A user named mediator shared an article entitled "the fall of Stack Overflow" with a chart showing that "Stack Overflow traffic has fallen by about 50% in the past year and a half, and the number of questions / answers that have sprung up on the site has decreased by about 50%."

Musk, who believes that such question and answer platforms will gradually be replaced by the AI model, made a brief comment on the article, arguing that the Stack Overflow platform was "killed by LLM" (CTOnews.com Note: LLM, short for "large language model").

A few hours after Musk's release of ▲, Musk responded to the Stack Overflow data chart released by Brett Winton, an analyst at Fanzhou Investment Management.

It is reported that Brett Winton said in the chart: "the time users spend on Stack Overflow is 40% lower than the same period last year, and about 200 million hours less than the previous peak period of the site."

Musk said: "LLM will lead to more and more widespread death."

Musk, the source of ▲, has twice pointed the finger at the Stack Overflow platform, which can be considered to be directly negative to Stack Overflow, and the data of the platform may be further affected. As of press time, the Stack Overflow platform has not responded to this.
