Runway, the behind-the-scenes special effects company of "instantaneous Universe", opens the AI video generation tool, which can be used for free trial with a registered account.
CTOnews.com July 26 news,"instant universe" behind-the-scenes technology company Runway previously received Google investment, and opened its AI-enabled video editing tool Gen-2, users can directly use text prompts to generate "realistic video content" and "automatic editing video."
Now the company has announced that its video editing tools Gen-1 and Gen-2 are completely open to the public, and anyone can sign up for an account to try them out for free.
Runway first launched its Gen-1 model in February this year, which can modify the artistic style of videos using only text prompts, such as converting real-life shots into cartoon paper-cut worlds.
Gen-2 goes a step further and can generate video scenes directly using a single text prompt, such as the prompt word "aerial drone shot of mountains," which can generate realistic aerial images.
It is reported that the Gen-2 tool currently open by Runway can generate videos of up to 4 seconds. After users register to use it, they can get a certain number of tokens, which can generate about 20 videos of 4 seconds for free. If users run out of tokens, they will have to pay for them, which costs $0.05 per token and about $0.20 to generate a video.
