This launch is the 78th launch of the Long March 2D carrier rocket, the 190th launch of the Long March series carrier rocket developed by the Eighth Academy, and the 480th launch of the Long March series carrier rocket. So far, the Long March series carrier rocket has set a record of 150 consecutive successful launches!

According to reports, the Long March 2D carrier rocket was developed by the Eighth Academy of the Aerospace Science and Technology Group. The rocket has a takeoff thrust of 300 tons. It has the ability to launch single satellites and multiple satellites according to different orbital requirements. It has the characteristics of high reliability, high safety, low cost and short launch period.

CTOnews.com inquired about public information and learned that Remote Sensing Satellite No.36 was developed by the Fifth Academy and the Eighth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. It is mainly used in scientific experiments, land and resources survey, crop yield estimation and disaster prevention and mitigation, electromagnetic environment detection and other fields. Four groups of launch missions have been completed before.
