The Beta layout label for Twitter Android client 10.0 has been changed to "X", but the name remains unchanged.

Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens, soft media users 1520111, Kangnakamuyi for the delivery of clues! CTOnews.com July 27 news, according to CTOnews.com netizens' feedback, Twitter is now in Android client version 10.0 Beta, changing the original "Bluebird" icon to black-and-white color matching "X".

In the latest version of the X app, traces of "Twitter" are gradually being erased. For example, the subscription service Twitter blue has been renamed X blue, the Bluebird Logo at the top of the home page has been replaced by X, and the prompt in the search bar has been changed to "search X" and so on.

Interestingly, although most of the app is marked with an X, the social software is still called "Twitter" in Android 10.0 Beta. Foreign media 9to5Google predicts that this situation will continue for some time until the release of the official version of Android 10.0.

After several days of warm-up by Musk, Twitter CEO Linda Yakarino officially announced on July 24 that Twitter Logo was officially changed to X.

As for the reason for replacing the Logo, Musk previously said: "I'm not sure what it symbolizes, but I like the letter X". "if X is closest to anything in style, then of course it should be Art Deco."
