Sources say Huawei and Jianghuai will jointly create a 1 million yuan MPV: the former does not comment, while the latter says it has not been notified

According to news on the morning of August 1, Tianfeng International Securities analyst Guo Mingyi said today that Huawei and JAC Motors are working together to develop a Mengjie MPV with a price of about 1 million yuan, which is expected to be in mass production in the second quarter of 2024, with a sales target of about 50,000 vehicles one year after sale.

Huawei said it would not comment. Jianghuai Automobile related personnel also responded to the media: "did not receive the relevant notice."

At the beginning of this year, Yu Chengdong, Huawei's terminal BG CEO and smart car solution BU CEO, revealed that in addition to Selis, Chery, BAIC and Jianghuai will also produce Huawei's complete solution models, covering sedans, SUV, MPV and various sizes.

At present, the models developed by Huawei and Selis are mainly based on SUV. The specific models of other cooperative car companies are not yet known.
