CTOnews.com, August 2 (Xinhua)-- the winners of the 16th IPPA Photography Competition (iPhone Photography Awards) in 2023 were announced. The winner was Ivan Silva (Ivan Silva) from Mexico, who won with "Heroe" shot by iPhone 12 Pro.

The competition is open to photographers who use iPhone or iPad all over the world, and is divided into 17 groups: abstract group, animal group, architecture group, children group, urban life group, environment group, scenery group, lifestyle group, nature group, people group, portrait group, series group, still life group, sunset group, tourism group and other groups.

In addition to the grand prize, three photographers of the year (Photographer of the Year) were announced at the 16th IPPA Photography Competition in 2023.

Germany's Thea Mihu won the first place in the Sauce Village (Soy Sauce Village) shot by iPhone 12 Pro Max, with the judges saying "use formal methods to enhance the loneliness and focus of the photos."

The second photographer of the year was Sasa Borozan of Bosnia, who filmed Taming Waves with iPhone 13 Pro.

In third place was Derek Hagrid of the United States, who used iPhone X to film Tucson Morning.
