Multi-account search-it is estimated that the online search results in July 2024 will display the results of all email accounts in the application. Users only need to search once to return all the relevant content in their inboxes.

1000 + Search Results-- estimates that the January 2024 launch will allow users to return more than 1000 results in a single search.

Folder / subfolder Recursive search-it is estimated that the online search in November 2023 will return content stored in the home folder and content stored in all its subfolders.

Improved search box interface-it is expected to launch in September 2023 to improve the search experience, with higher color contrast in input areas, borders and fonts, and fine-tuning all themes such as light and dark colors to make them more prominent and discoverable.

The above search improvements apply to the web version of Outlook, but Microsoft says it will expand to other platforms such as mobile.
