CTOnews.com August 6 news, browser reading mode allows users to read web articles or pages in the browser, remove interference elements such as advertisements, pictures or videos, and retain only text content. Although Google Chrome browser also supports reading mode, it does not provide this feature by default, and you need to enable the "Read Anything" option in the developer Flag to use it.

CTOnews.com notes that Google is making changes to the tool for this reading mode, hiding all the setting options in a gear icon. The gear icon is located on the left side of the reading mode panel, and you can click it to adjust options such as font size, font style, color, line height, and spacing. Fortunately, after clicking on any of the options, the dialog box will not be closed, so you don't have to click the gear icon again every time to bring up the settings menu.

In previous versions, some people might think that Google did this to make the reading mode more "interference-free", but others thought it was a bad design because it made it difficult for users to find and use these editing options.

What many users prefer is that instead of being crammed into the sidebar, the reading mode can cover the entire page and can be switched at any time, just like the reading mode of Edge browsers, so that users can change the content of the entire page, rather than just reading in a small area on the right side of the screen.
