It is reported that Audi RS6 will return to pure electric car in 2025.

However, according to British media AutoCar, the Audi RS6 will return to the market in 2025, when it will be an all-electric model. The electric Audi RS6 sedan will be available a year after the launch of the A6 e-tron and is expected to be more powerful than the fuel version of the RS6 currently on sale.

Like the A6 e-tron, the electric RS6 will be based on Volkswagen's new Advanced platform Electric (PPE) chassis. The first vehicle to use the platform will be the Porsche Macan EV, which will be unveiled at the end of this year.

Audi unveiled a concept version of the A6 e-tron in 2021, claiming a range of 435 miles, far more than any of Audi's current electric models. Audi also said that the A6 e-tron can support fast charging of 270kW, adding 186miles of mileage in just 10 minutes. The dual-motor-driven A6 e-tron will have about 470 horsepower and accelerate from rest to 60 mph in just four seconds. In addition, Audi will also offer an entry-level rear-wheel drive model.

If the electric RS6 is to be competitive in the increasingly fierce competition, it is expected to have at least more than 700 horsepower and an acceleration time of 0-60 mph in less than 3 seconds.
