CTOnews.com, August 8 (Xinhua)-- according to foreign media AppleInsider, the Apple Apple Watch Watch has added a fast charging function after the Series 7 model in 2021. Apple officially announced that "the current fast charging function of the Apple Watch can quickly charge the watch from 0% to 80% in about 45 minutes."

▲ Source AppleInsiderCTOnews.com Note: Apple Apple Watch uses a proprietary charging protocol based on Qi, and ordinary Qi chargers cannot power the Apple Watch, so third-party chargers produced by "secondary factories" must purchase special charging modules from Apple to charge the watch.

Foreign media claimed that after the Series 7 watch, Apple did not provide the "secondary factory" with the corresponding "fast charging module", so the "secondary factory" can only use the traditional "slow charge" charging module before Series 7 to make a third-party Apple Watch watch charger.

Apple now plans to start replacing the fast charging module for the "secondary factory", but according to foreign media, this requirement is "mandatory". After August 31 this year, the "secondary factory" can only order the fast charging module numbered C962, but can no longer order the "slow charging module." and Apple's official fast charging module is more expensive than slow charging, so foreign media believe that the third-party charger for Apple Watch watches will usher in an increase.
