Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra phone revealed: equipped with M13 OLED screen and 16GB memory
CTOnews.com, August 10 (Xinhua)-- Samsung plans to introduce a new M13 OLED panel on its Galaxy S24 Ultra phone next year, with a maximum memory of 16GB, according to South Korean media Chosun.
The report says the Galaxy S24 Ultra phone uses M13 OLED screen panels, which are not only thinner, but also have a better display.
According to the report, German semiconductor material supplier Merck has built a special M13 material production line in 2022 at the Baocheng Industrial Park in Pyeongze, Gyeonggi Province, to meet the needs of Samsung Galaxy S24 series M13 OLED panels, which will also be used in S24 and S24 + depending on the scale of mass production.
After Samsung deploys the M13 OLED panel in the Galaxy S24 series, it will later sell this material-grade panel to Apple's iPhone 16.
CTOnews.com checked the report and found no more specific quantitative indicators for M13 OLED.
In terms of processors, Samsung plans to return to dual processors on the Galaxy S24 series, with Exynos 2400 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chips, the report said.
In terms of memory, Samsung Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 + will start from 8GB to 12GB, while Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will have 16GB memory.
