CTOnews.com August 13, the Geneva International Motor Show has announced that it will return to Switzerland from February 26 to March 3, 2024 to celebrate its 100th anniversary. Organizers expect 10,000 journalists and 300000 visitors to participate in the exhibition within seven days.

CTOnews.com learned from officials that the Geneva Motor Show, which used to be held once a year, has been suspended since the global outbreak in 2020. Officials plan to hold an exhibition at the Palexpo Convention and Exhibition Center near Geneva Airport from February 26 to March 3 next year, revise the exhibition concept and reduce hotel fees.

"the showroom in Geneva has been rented and paid for," Sandro Mesquita, managing director of the Geneva International Motor Show, told Automotive Weekly, a sister publication of European Automotive News.

Organizers have developed a new concept for the exhibition to significantly reduce the high participation costs that have deterred many car companies. 'We provide pre-configured booths for exhibitors, so they don't have to build their own booths, which we call ready-to-use, 'says Mr Meskita. "these booths are smaller and simpler to design than in the past."

The exhibition is sponsored by the Qatar Tourism Board, and the company will hold an auto festival in the capital Doha from October 5 to 14 this year.
