Microsoft releases a new preview of Skype Insiders: it can download automatically, remove extra buttons, and improve the saving experience.
CTOnews.com August 16, Microsoft today invited a small number of users to test the latest Skype Insiders preview. This update introduces a number of features, the most noteworthy of which is to improve the file download experience.
In the latest Skype Insiders preview, the "automatically download files" option is set so that users can no longer click the "download" button manually after enabling it.
CTOnews.com has attached a preview version of Skype Insiders to improve as follows:
Seamless automatic download: tired of downloading every file manually? Users can open Settings-> messages-> automatically download files.
When enabled by the user, all files sent to you will be downloaded automatically. More importantly, after the download is completed, the system will recognize the file type and automatically display a vibrant icon.
Remove extra buttons: in our early design, the file had a download button, which changed to the Open button after download.
Microsoft has simplified the process in the new preview version, enabling automatic download so that it can be opened and viewed immediately by clicking or clicking anywhere in the received file. This experience is consistent across all platforms.
Easy to save: although automatic downloads allow you to view files immediately, we understand that sometimes you need to save these files to your device.
On the desktop platform, right-click to select the Save as option from the menu; on the mobile device, open the file and select the share option.
In addition to the above new features, the latest Skype Insiders preview version improves the stability of the application and fixes multiple BUG such as the Android version's inability to call the camera.
