Kingsoft's revenue in the second quarter of 2023 was 2.1935 billion yuan, an increase of 20% over the same period last year and 11% over the previous quarter. Revenue from office software and services, online games and other sources accounted for 51% and 49% of total revenue in the second quarter of 2023, respectively. Revenue from office software and services business in the second quarter of 2023 was 1.1208 billion yuan, up 21 per cent from the same period last year and 7 per cent from the previous quarter. This year-on-year increase is mainly due to the sustainable growth of the domestic personal office subscription business and institutional subscription business of Beijing Jinshan Office Software Co., Ltd. (Jinshan Office) and its subsidiaries (collectively known as Jinshan Office Group).

Revenue from online games and other businesses in the second quarter of 2023 was 1.0726 billion yuan, an increase of 18% over the same period last year and 17% over the previous quarter. The increase was mainly due to a significant increase in revenue due to the continuous updating and optimization of the user experience of "Swordnet 3", partly offset by the natural decline in revenue from existing mobile games such as "Swordsman World 3" and "Swordnet 1: return".

Gross profit in the second quarter of 2023 was 1.8318 billion yuan, an increase of 25% over the same period last year and 13% over the previous quarter. The group's gross profit margin was 84%, an increase of 4% over the same period last year and 2% over the previous quarter, mainly due to changes in the income structure.

The net profit attributable to parent owners in the second quarter of 2023 was RMB 57.2 million, compared with a net loss of RMB 140.2 million in the second quarter of 2022 and a net profit of RMB 192.3 million in the first quarter of 2023.
